Bowling

We tackled another first this summer...bowling! Thanks to our sweet friend Amelia for turning 3, and having a fun party at Station 300!
It's been so fun watching these two grow up together.

 Party animals!
 Sweet Piper Ann

 Birthday girl!
Eli's first time on the lanes. He loved it!
Layla kept busy with entertaining the babies.
Just a few of the party kids.

The adults had just as much fun! Love the opportunity to catch up with sweet friends, while kids are happily entertained.

VA Summer Visit

A few times each year, I like to get all road trip brave and take the kids to VA for a visit. We went to my mom's the first week of August. One last trip before school starts. The kids are always such troopers in the car, and each trip seems to get a little bit easier. I've never been so thankful for my 4 year old helper in the backseat!
We had several lunch's at Grandma's house. She always feeds us well when we're home.
We spent a lot of time with Aunt Wiz and Uncle Pat.
Played A LOT of Candyland. Eli's favorite game of the summer.
He challenged just about every visitor we had to a game! Fyi...he always wins.
 He had a slurpee every.single.day.
We played outside a lot at Mimi's house.
Had a big cookout at Aunt Karen's house.
Love the time I get to spend with my mama!

Uncle Pat & Brittany treated the kids to a fun night at Chuck E Cheese. It was a first for us, and something tells me we'll be going back!

Eli got some special ticket when we walked in the door, allowing him a trip inside the "ticket blaster." I honestly thought he'd freak out when they locked him inside this glass box, but he did great! He gave us a thumbs up, and did exactly what Uncle Pat instructed him to do...pick up all the tickets off the floor when the thing turns off. Ha!

Big girl. Big bed.

This week, we found the perfect bed for our girl. We hadn't really talked about moving her out of the crib anytime soon, but it happened, and she was ready! She's always wanting to be in ours or Eli's bed, and though she loved her crib, she transitioned out of it perfectly.
I'm glad this change happened fast, and before I could give it much thought. Tonight when we take her crib apart and move it out of her room, I will be one sad mama.
We moved Eli into his bed around the same time, but for a different reason. Despite popular belief, the Morgan family is NOT expanding. Unless the Lord has other plans for us in the future, we are perfectly content with our two precious blessings.
Night 1

Night 2

I was worried that her sleep habits could change, but they seem to have changed for the better thus far! We often forget just how flexible children are. These changes are often harder on us!

Summer Days

We've been busy checking things off of our summer fun list. My blog gets neglected in the summer time. The crazy routine and schedule of the summer months just throws me off! We've got two weeks remaining until Eli's back in school. We're going to make the most of our laid back days, that's for sure! Next year at this time, we'll be sending him off to school full time. Crazy!

We took the kids to Lawton Stables, a fun summer tradition! Layla was too young to remember last summer, so we declared this her first official visit. Our little animal lover was in heaven!

The park at Harbor Town is another favorite of ours. We don't make it there as often as we should.
Son, please never feel neglected in the photo department, because this is what you give me every single time!
Take this girl outside to play, and she's a happy camper.

GG & Goomba came over for dinner one night, and Eli challenged them to a game of Candy Land. He's certainly inherited the Morgan love of game playing!
Little Miss and her first set of pigtails.
We've had a lot of rain lately. She loves to stand in the garage and sing her "rain rain go aways!"
Beach days have been hot, but the kids don't seem to mind a bit!
Eli stays in the water the entire time.
There's just something about a sweet girl and her tails!

This is her favorite pose these days. If I get out the camera, she lays on the floor and says cheeese!

Last weekend we were able to spend the day in Columbia celebrating Luke's 3rd birthday. It was a fun, and very long overdue trip!
Layla loved being at Chase's house. She LOVES Chase, and now calls every boy she sees Chase :).
It was a very strange weather day. 65 degrees in August! We didn't let that keep us from a pool party, though!
These two cousin buddies were thrilled to spend the day together!
 Big girl at the party.

It was a fun day celebrating you, Luke! The "babies" of the family are growing up...way too fast!
