Rodan + Fields

After years, and I do mean YEARS of not being happy with my skin, I decided to make a change. I've tried just about every product out there. In my 28 years, I've done my fair share of sun worshiping, and experienced the worst of breakouts. Not to mention two pregnancies that did a number on my skin!

I'm so glad that I started using Rodan + Fields. I can't say enough good things about their products. My skin feels incredible!

Rodan + Fields is a skin care line from the doctors who created ProActiv. What they did for acne with ProActiv, they are now doing again for the Anti-Aging market. Along with an Anti-Aging line they also have products for erasing sun damage and dark spots, soothing sensitive skin, as well as products for acne.

There are 4 product lines...

Redefine: For wrinkles, pores and loss of firmness
Reverse: Exfoliates, lightens and brightens. For brown spots, dullness, and sun damaged skin
Soothe: For sensitive, irritated skin and facial redness
Unblemish: For acne and post-acne marks

We offer a full 60 day empty bottle guarantee on all of our products. I can't think of many other companies who back their products in this way.

I love seeing these REAL results!

I fell in love with this company, and decided to become an Independent Consultant. I started with the intent of enjoying a great consultant discount on my products, but it's very quickly turned into much more. One of my favorite things about working for this company, is that there are NO parties, NO pressure, and NO stocking inventory or delivery. Can't beat that! Everything is ordered from your personal website, and shipped directly to your customers. Easy peasy!

I'm so excited about this new opportunity, and look forward to accomplishing some big goals along the way. If you or someone you know would be interested in learning more about the products or business opportunity, please contact me! We're always looking to grow our team, and I'd love to hear from you!

5 Years!

*Forgot to post this last month when I wrote it, oops!*
Last week was a fun filled birthday week for Eli! He had been counting down to his special day for months. It's hard to believe that its possible for 5 years to fly by that fast.

We started his birthday off with our favorite friends at Dunkin Donuts. Because nothing says happy birthday like chocolate and sprinkles :). The day of sugar continued with cupcakes at school. Layla and I joined his class as they celebrated his special day.

We went out for a special birthday dinner that night at his favorite restaurant with Nana & Pop Pop and GG & Goomba.
That weekend we had an all things baseball party for the boy. He had been talking about a "baseball party" the whole year. He invited his closest buddies, and they had a blast! We had an abundance of ballpark food, and probably a little too much sugar. It sure was good, though! The kids were able to run their little hearts out, and we ended the day with some water balloon fun.

Sister really enjoyed herself. The park and sugar would be two of her most favorite things!
Thankful for the sweet friends and relationships that have been made over the last 5 years. We had fun celebrating with them!

Eli - You are such a joyful and fun loving boy. I love that you are tenderhearted, yet equally "all boy." You love to serve others, and I pray that you will continue to do so for all of your years. You are your sister's biggest fan, yet also her chief aggravator :). You have learned so much this past year, and we look forward to watching you grow into your new school as you begin Kindergarten. We love you so!

"...We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way..." Colossians 1:9-10

Spring is Here! Time to catch up...

Thanks to the world of Instagram and social media, my poor blog has been neglected! I almost don't even know where to start with the catch up process. Things are ever changing around here, and our sweet kiddos are keeping us busy! Here's a quick summary of the last three or so months...

Bluffton got some snow ice, and things shut down for days.

In February, we bought and closed on the lot where we'll be building our new home. We're thrilled and very thankful that this longtime dream is becoming a reality!

We had a fun visit from much of our VA family. We were able to celebrate my sweet mama's birthday together.
We try to always spend our birthdays together.

That same weekend, we did some intense house hunting, and my mom and Tom signed a contract on a house in BLUFFTON! Exciting doesn't even begin to describe it! They'll be moving here full time whenever our new house is completed.
That same week, we put our condo on the market. Praying for the perfect buyer!

Other than that, we completed basketball season and started t-ball. I've never been so thankful for the Spring to be here! Baseball season has been a fun distraction, and one that Eli REALLY enjoys. We've got the best little team and great coaches.

We've had to be out of the house a lot due to showings, so we've taken full advantage of every park in Bluffton, and now that it's warmer, the beach! Layla has been more than ok with these circumstances!

That's all I've got for now!

January Days

Eli started basketball last month. It's been just as entertaining as we hoped it'd be! He's one of the younger ones on the team, but he's definitely learning. Our goal of burning off some winter energy has been successful though!

He's more concerned about the fans in the stands and what's for snack after the game, but that's ok :).
Daddy never turns down snuggles from his girl.
Layla got a scooter for a birthday. She's thrilled to join the neighborhood scooter crew!
We've spent some Friday nights at Island Gymnastics. They LOVE going.

Eli and Amelia had a Zaxby's date after gymnastics one night. They looked like a little old couple with napkins in their laps!
The four of us finally made it to the theater to see Frozen. This was Layla's first trip to the movies, and she did pretty good!
Layla's princess tent sometimes becomes the "prince" tent when the boys take it over :).
L did her own hair before church one Sunday. She thought it was just perfect!
 Totally normal around here.
We went to a cold freezing birthday party for baby Napp at our favorite park. The kids all acted like it was 90 degrees outside.
We braved a trip to Savannah for some play time and a little shopping. Anything to help keep us busy on these cold January days!

We're crossing our fingers and toes that Bluffton will be seeing some SNOW this week! Eli said we need to go buy him some "Christmas boots."

Makin' Memories

We started off the month with a crazy fun visit with our Washington & SC cousins. We so desperately missed our CA family, though!
12/30/13 - Eli and Jacob had their first and very long anticipated sleepover at our house. They were precious, and had the best time together.
They played every single game we own, ate A LOT of popcorn, watched a movie, and played with just about every toy in our house. They stayed up late laughing, and started back up again at 6am the next morning. Too busy making memories to sleep!
Layla tried her best to keep up :)

We got ourselves all bearded up to welcome Jason, Becky, Noah & Colin. We had to show our love for a certain bearded brother in law :).

 There he is!

We celebrated Layla's birthday this week too!
Blowing out her birthday pancake candle.
 Sweet boys!
The littlest cousins who aren't so little anymore.
It was cold and rainy most of the week. Bleh!
A fun outing to Island Playground helped though!

There's just nothing better than seeing a great-grandfather right in on all the action!

Love watching these growing cousins together. Thankful for the time we were able to spend together!

Christmas Part 2 - Virginia

We spent Christmas in Virginia this year. It's not always easy to travel during the Holidays with little ones, but it IS always worth it! It was such a fun visit, filled with traditions and great family time.
Happy Mimi!
Mimi and Papa Tom got a train for under their tree. This was a huge hit! It was even in working order by the end of our visit...I was fully expecting my crew to destroy it in no time :).
We did a lot of baking, playing, and staying up way past bed time.
We finally got around to sitting on Santa's lap...that clearly went great! Eli talked his ear off and Layla kicked him in the shin until I came to the rescue :).
I love the mall at Christmas time (and every other day of the year). :)
My mom hosted our family/friend Christmas party on Monday night. Eli and Uncle Pat got into lots of trouble, Layla babysat Buffy the dog, and we did a fun White Elephant gift exchange.

We got a lot of good Aunt Wiz time!
We did the traditional Christmas Eve service, and then went back to the Nichols' house to eat and watch the Grinch.
There was a lot of energy to burn off after church!
Santa found us at Mimi's house on Christmas morning! We opened gifts, and then got ready to head over to Grandma's house for Christmas brunch.

The annual "kids" picture. Love spending it with this crew!

My grandma got mustache's for all the guys!

We had some very unhappy campers when it was time to leave! We're thankful for very easy car trips both ways, and for the time we were able to spend together.
